Owen Zidar is a Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at Princeton University, where he directs the Industrial Relations Section.

He studies inequality and tax policy, using tax data to measure who is at the top of the income and wealth distribution and how taxes affect businesses, workers, and the economy. His new book with Eric Zwick, The Everywhere Millionaire: Who Is Really Rich in America and How They Got There, was published in September 2026.
